1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or other mild cheese)
1/4 cup margarine, softened
1 to 2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
Milk
Cream the cheese, margarine and garlic together using an electric mixer. Add the flour and mix thoroughly. Slowly add enough milk to form a stiff dough.
Shape dough into a ball, cover, and chill for 30 minutes or more.
Roll dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes.
Bake at 375*F (190*C) for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown and firm. Cool on wire rack.
